Cancellation Policy

  1. A student may cancel a booking at any point before the scheduled start time of a lesson.
  2. Students must cancel a lesson by cancelling the relevant booking in the “My Lessons” section of the member dashboard on the website. Cancellations made only through direct contact with the teacher, such as by email or comment elsewhere in the member’s dashboard, and not through the “My Lessons” schedule for that booking, may result in the lesson credit still being deducted from the student’s account.
  3. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before a lesson is due to commence will incur no lesson deduction from the purchased lesson package. The cancelled lesson will be re-credited to the student’s lesson schedule in the dashboard as an unscheduled lesson.
  4. Bookings cancelled by a student less than 24 hours before a lesson is due to commence will still result in a deduction of a lesson from the student’s lesson credits. The only exception to this is in an emergency situation, and lesson re-credits are at the discretion of Happy English UK.
  5. Bookings cancelled less than 24 hours before the lesson is due to commence cannot be cancelled through the “My Lessons” section of the dashboard. To cancel a lesson with less than 24 hours’ notice you must email us. Please let us know in your email why you need to cancel the lesson, so that we are able to assess whether a lesson re-credit is possible.
  6. Happy English UK may cancel a booking at any time prior to a lesson taking place. To do so, Happy English UK must inform the student directly via the website and email and cancel the booking on the website. In the event of Happy English UK cancelling a booking, the lesson credit will be re-credited to the student ‘s account.
  7. Bookings cannot be cancelled after the lesson has started.
